Shaun Tan's collection of quirky and very short pieces, accompanied by his surreal illustrations (always puts me in mind of the surrealist Yves Tanguy) - Tales From Outer Suburbia.

And Paul Torday's humorous Salmon Fishing in the Yemen (put me in mind of the TV show Yes, Minister).

I like the title, Tales From Outer Suburbia. I've been agonizing over a title for my own manuscript.
Happy trails.
Yep, it works well, Swubird. I find that titles sometimes make themselves known very quickly and other times are very elusive. I wish you happy hunting in the pursuit of yours.
