'The Snowing and Greening of Thomas Passmore' in Ulverscroft Large Print

Ulverscroft released the large print, hard cover edition of The Snowing and Greening of Thomas Passmore this month. To see the cover design for this, or for more details, click here. (Don't have the facilities here to copy and paste the cover into this blog.)

Would write more, but am on the hop. Leaving UK on Tuesday for USA. Very exciting. Never been there before.

Just finished reading Mary Shelley's Frankenstein. Thought it was about time I read this, as I only knew it through various adaptations. Great story, although I inevitably found the C19 storytelling style a little laboured.

Paul:

Just read that you are coming to America. Fantastic. Have a wonderful time. Take lots of pictures. Will you be on the east coast or the west coast? If east, don't miss Washington, DC and the Smithsonian. I went there a few yeas ago for the first time. It was fabulous. Out west you have Disneyland, the Getty Museum and up north you have San Francisco. Wherever you are, you shouldn't have any trouble finding things to do. Them of course, there's my all time favorite city---Las Vegas. No description needed.

Happy trails my friend.

Swubird: Have been in Penn state for most of the time (canoeing west branch of Susquehanna River, watching fireworks for 4th July celebrations in State College... having a wonderful time). Off to New York today, before heading out in a couple of days. Hope to be back one day because we've had so much fun, so many new experiences).

Hi Gary. I'll be resurfacing in about ten days. Will catch up then. Have fun.
