Hong Kong... and London
Browsing through a few holiday pics, thought I might put up 2 or 3 from Hong Kong. These were taken along Star Quay in Kowloon - hand-prints of Hong Kong actors in the paving stones, statues along the front, that sort of thing. I often take photos of people taking photos, it seems; love the way we pose in front of icons.
The mock film posters were part of an art installation. Was amused by what the artist chose to say about London.

I share your amusement on that poster Paul. It didn't look too hot there. How did you find Hong Kong?
Although it's hard to tell from the photos, it was very humid and we were keen to dive into air-conditioned buildings before long. Monsoonal rain the following day. Thought the Hong Kong people were delightful, but got a little weary of the in-your-face hawkers.
Hi Paul,
Wow, I didn't know London was such a happenin' place. I do keep meaning to visit. Nice photos, and you have an interesting take on folks posing for pictures in front of icons. I suppose we stand in front of famous places and spots to record one's "I was there" moment in time. Glad you have a nice trip. Thanks for sharing.
Yep, London seems to have got itself something of a reputation. Certainly worth a visit. We had a great time while there and would've liked to stay longer. Loved it. Thanks for dropping by, Mike.
