10 Journeys

10 Journeys is due to be released today (including At the Rawlings' Place, of course).  Unfortunately, I can't be in the UK to help celebrate its launch so thought I'd mark the occasion here instead.

At the Rawlings' Place is set in a fictional town in the Western Plains, which we travelled through this weekend, on our way to and from Daylesford (see last blog entry).  Thought I'd take a couple of photos to share an impression of the area, although without stitching several together it's hard to convey the flatness of the landscape, the vastness of the sky.  The story, I hope, will do that and more.

Oh, and hard-on-the-heels of my Five Wounds review, I've just posted an interview with Jonathan Walker and Dan Hallett across at The View From Here.

Great news about 10 Journeys - although I'm reviewing it for TVFH so watch out Mrs T is about!!!

Love the contrasts in that third photo - certainly very atmospheric. Now I'll have to skip straight to At the Rawling's Place ....:)

Will pop over and check out that review/interview this morning - I should be asleep now but the cat from Hell, Miss Tigga, has been replaced by the cat from hell II, Master Bondie, who has decided that I need a new meowing alarm clock. 4.45 am this morning.... God, why does it always happen to me..... I am cursed......

Still a sucker for a mean cat, eh? Now, I'm not sure whether that will make you more appreciative or less appreciative to At the Rawlings' Place because cats are featured... sort of.

Ohhhh..how intriguing! My macabre streak says you have one hung, drawn and quartered and roasted on the barbie.... No, no surely not..it must be a metaphorical cat:)

Thanks for visiting, Jo. It's good to see that you (and your site) are interested in creative humanoids! :-)
